Hi, this post is all about some hidden tricks in windows XP!

To make an invisible folder is windows XP.

To make an invisible folder, initially you need to “Create a New folder” wherever u wants. Like on your desktop or in any of the local disc drive’s etc...
After creating the folder, “Right click” on that newly created folder and select “Rename” from the menu, now you will see the name new folder has turned into blue, that mean’s it is ready to wipe out. Now look into your keyboard and press and hold the ALT key, then type “0160” [without quotes]. After typing the numbers release the alt key. Now you will see the name as blank!, Now the second part of it, “Right click” on that folder and select “Properties” from the menu, you will get the properties window, click on the “Customize” tab on the top, then towards the very bottom under folder icon’s you will see a button named as “change icon”, click on change icon, now you will get the box from which you can select a suitable icon for the folder, here comes the trick! Scroll to the right side, on the bottom after the golden star and lock icon u will see a “Blank space”, click on that blank space, then click on “OK”, now you will be back to the previous window, click on “OK” in that window too. That’s all, now you won’t be able to see the folder anymore in the screen!

Create a New folder
Right click Rename
press and hold the ALT key then type “0160”
Right click on the folder once again
Properties Customize change icon
Select Blank space from the icon’s list
OK OK
